Hey band folks! Here’s the band club scoop for Sunnyside Elementary’s beginning of the school year 2024-2025. Concert Band and Modern Band clubs for grades 4th through 6th grade are starting next week! Modern Band will start on Monday 8/5 with a 4:30 parent and student meeting, and Concert Band will start on Thursday 8/8 with a 4:30 parent and student meeting. We will meet in the MPR and go over our program goals, permission forms, and answer band questions. Some returning band members may model their instrument, or jam live if they are feeling brave. For our Concert Band meeting on Thursday 8/8, Bertrand’s Music Store will have a representative here to present instruments and discuss rental agreement options.
Starting the week of 8/12/24, all band clubs will begin after school in room 602. Band practice ends at 3:45.
