Check out the modern band classes for 4th grade and above, and many other cool summer classes at the YES Academy at SWC! Classes take place Mondays through Thursdays for 2 week sessions from 6/16/25 to 7/10/25. Morning sessions are from 9:00am to 11:30, and afternoon sessions are from 12:00 to 2:30. Students can bring their own modern band instrument or borrow one. This program is focused on building skills with guitar, ukulele, piano keyboard, drums, and vocals. Students can focus on one, but are encouraged to try them all. Modern band is about exploring the music you love from genres like rock, pop, reggae, blues, hip-hop, and more!
